I’m Sharon Mickan — leader, innovator, and facilitator of improvement.
Â
After decades working across clinical care, academia, and health leadership, I created Mosaic Health Consulting to assist health professionals and organisations drive improvement in healthcare.
Over the years I have experienced increasing challenges, lack of time and understanding, competing priorities and pressures to improve within the health sector.  My journey has been shaped by curiosity, perseverance, and a deep commitment to helping others navigate the complexities of leadership. I’m here to share what I’ve learned, to inspire, and to collaborate towards creating meaningful impact in healthcare.Â
More about SharonImprovement starts with great ideas.
Every day you see opportunities to make your workplace more efficient, integrated and safe for your patients and colleagues. But with so many competing priorities it’s not always clear where to begin or how to realise your ideas.
You’re not alone.
Health professionals and leaders are under pressure to deliver better outcomes with limited time and resources.
Common challenges include:
- Not enough time or tools to plan improvements properly
- Feeling stuck, uncertain or overwhelmed by constant changeÂ
- Surrounded by a risk-averse culture and tight performance deadlines.
I can help you navigate through these challenges with practical guidance, structured support, and facilitation that makes change achievable.
The Mosaic pathway to impact
Helping you navigate the challenges as an individual and leader, towards lasting improvements, one step at a time, towards.
